BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
With Rashod Bateman officially questionable for this Saturday afternoon showdown, Zay Flowers could end up getting a couple more deep shots in Week 16; something that correlates well to his fantasy aspirations. Though we're far removed from Flowers' manufactured-touch usage from early in his rookie season, his bottom line is heavily impacted by whether or not the team draws up plays to get him some downfield usage.

Flowers hasn't had a good fantasy performance since Week 11 (10.9 points) and hasn't had a *great* one since Week 9 (27.2). He had three receptions on three targets 20+ yards down the field in that explosive game, but only two deep catches in the five subsequent weeks. Were Bateman to miss, Flowers could be back in that WR2 range for Week 16.

BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 @ New York Giants
While Zay Flowers has been serviceable in 2024 fantasy leagues —particularly in best ball—he hasn't seen a ceiling game since Week 9's 27.2 performance. He remains a high-ceiling, moderate-floor option here in Week 15, but with the Ravens sitting as 16.5-point favorites, it's worth questioning how often they're going to need to uncork the deep balls that can get Flowers into the WR2 conversation. Consider him a WR3 here.

BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
It can sometimes be difficult to trust Zay Flowers (see: Week 4, 7, 10) when the team keeps him near the line of scrimmage for bubble screens and the like, but he has had five 9+ target games on the season, which makes him an easy click when he's getting that type of volume, regardless of his aDOT. Fire him up as a low-end WR2 and hope we get the good side of variance with his targets against a tough Eagles secondary.

BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 @ Los Angeles Chargers
It can sometimes be difficult to trust Zay Flowers (see: Week 4, 7, 10) when the team keeps him near the line of scrimmage for bubble screens and the like, but he has had five 9+ target games on the season, which makes him an easy click when he's getting that type of volume, regardless of his aDOT. Fire him up as a low-end WR2 and hope we get the good side of variance with his targets.

Week 11 @ Pittsburgh Steelers
It can sometimes be difficult to trust Zay Flowers (see: Week 4, 7) when the team keeps him near the line of scrimmage for bubble screens and the like, but he has had five 9+ target games on the season, which makes him an easy click when he's getting that type of volume, regardless of his aDOT. BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
It can sometimes be difficult to trust Zay Flowers (see: Week 7) when the team keeps him near the line of scrimmage for bubble screens and the like, but he has had three 9+ target games in his last five, which makes him an easy click when he's getting that type of volume, regardless of his aDOT. Fire him up as a WR2 in what should be a high-scoring affair.

BAL WR Zay Flowers - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Denver Broncos
It can sometimes be difficult to trust Zay Flowers (see: Week 7) when the team keeps him near the line of scrimmage for bubble screens and the like, but he has had three 9+ target games in his last four, which makes him an easy click when he's getting that type of volume, regardless of his aDOT. Fire him up as a WR3 in what could be a difficult matchup for him.
