RB Isaiah Crowell to sign with the New York Jets

It looks like Crowell will be a New York Jet next season and could be in line to take over the No. 1 RB duties after Matt Forte retired this offseason.

Fantasy Impact:

There has been talk of the Cleveland Browns wanting to work a new contract with Duke Johnson and they have also been linked to Saquon Barkley in the draft. Crowell is only a year removed from being the No. 14 scoring fantasy RB in 2016 (he was No. 30 last year), and could find plenty of rushing opportunities as a Jet.

NYJ RB Matt Forte - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New England Patriots

Matt Forte watched teammate Bilal Powell get most of the carries last week as he continues to struggle with a knee injury. He should be able to play but we expect his impact to be minimal.

The Jets play New England this week, who is ranked eighth in aFPA to running backs. With the Pats playing to win, keep Forte on the bench for Week 17. He won't put up fantasy numbers worthy of a starting lineup spot.
