Week 7 vs. Buffalo
Gerhart saw nine carries last week with T.J. Yeldon sidelined, but managed just 26 yards. Yeldon is still dealing with a groin injury and could be out again this week, but you can do better than Gerhart.

Fantasy Upside
Gerhart looks to again fill the role of short-yardage backup for the Jaguars behind rookie T.J. Yeldon.

Fantasy Downside
He flamed out hard last season despite high expectations and finished the year with just 326 rushing yards on 101 carries.

Bottom line
Yeldon has an upright running style that lends itself to injuries, but Gerhart won't have a ton of fantasy value unless he steals a fair share of touchdowns.

It figures that Toby Gerhart would have his most productive overall day - 12-53-1 - and come out of it with an injury. He hurt his ribs last week and has been hampered by it in practice. But he returned after the injury last week, so expect him to play. Of course, the Jags might also decide to take a look at Jordan Todman and Storm Johnson as well. There's no reason to play Gerhart.

Toby Gerhart was OK against the Ravens last week, gaining 54 yards on 13 carries. Now, he gets to face Tennessee's horrid run defense - at home. With Blake Bortles hurting, the Jaguars might be inclined to run the ball a little more than usual. Gerhart should be a popular option as a low-end No. 2 or flex play this week.
