ATL RB Caleb Huntley - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Caleb Huntley has worked himself into a solid role with the Falcons and rushed for over 90 yards last week against the Panthers. The downside is Tyler Allgeier gets more of the work in the passing game, but there's still enough work for Huntley to warrant flex consideration against an average Chargers run defense (13th DVOA), especially with six teams on a bye this week. He's a nice fallback option.

Week 8 vs. Carolina Panthers

Caleb Huntley saw just 11 snaps last week against the Bengals and only carried the ball six times. He has fewer than 10 carries in two of the last three games as Tyler Allgeier looks to have taken the lead role in the absence of Cordarrelle Patterson. Against a good Panthers run defense, Huntley is probably best avoided this week in standard leagues.

Week 7 at Cincinnati Bengals

Caleb Huntley has earned a timeshare with Tyler Allgeier while Cordarrelle Patterson is on injured reserve, but Allgeier has seen the field a tad more than Huntley and neither is involved in the passing game. Huntley doesn't even have a single catch this season. Huntley is barely a flex option this week in Cincinnati, but you're likely better off elsewhere.

Week 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Caleb Huntley will start to see more work with Cordarrelle Patterson on injured reserve. He has 18 carries over the past two weeks, but he still sits behind Tyler Allgeier in the pecking order and the Falcons face the league's No. 1 rushing defense in the 49ers this week, making his fantasy outlook very difficult, even with byes starting this week. Best to steer clear for now.
