Forgotten moment from yesterday in the aftermath of the worst loss in franchise history: Jaguars WR Gabe Davis left the locker room on crutches with his left leg in a brace. Suffered a knee injury during the game against Lions.

UPDATE: It's been reported Davis has a torn meniscus. It hasn't yet been determined if Davis will need a trim or a full repair, according to reports. Pro Football Talk reports Davis would be done for the season needing a full repair. However, with the Jags at 2-9 and coming off a horrible loss to the Lions, there is really no need to bring Davis back. It looks like Thomas will remain the team's top target at WR but with Kirk and Davis now potentially done for the year, Washington moves up the depth chart.
Doug Pederson says Brian Thomas Jr is a game-time decision vs. Eagles.
"He's not going to be 100%, but no one is at this time... we also don't want any set backs."
Travis Etienne is "another one who is probably a game-time decision."
Related Players: Tank Bigsby, Parker Washington, Tim Jones, Evan Engram
In a follow-up tweet, O'Brien mentions that Gabe Davis is also a game-time decision, so the Jaguars offense is in abject ruin right now. Engram might very well get 12-15 targets in Week 9, while Tank Bigsby should have a locked-in workload as well.
The Jags may be even more short-handed, as stellar rookie Brian Thomas Jr. will have an MRI on his ribs to determine his status for the week, source said.

Thomas wasn't able to get back on the field after putting up a line of 3-60-1 last week. The Jags are already with Christian Kirk heading into a game with the Eagles. The bit of good news is the Eagles-Jags game was flexed out of Sunday night, so owners will have a little bit more time to figure out a backup plan should Thomas come down to a game-time call. The game is now in the later Sunday window. Rib injuries can be tricky, so owners will want to monitor this all week.
Former Jets WR Denzel Mims, whom the Steelers released this week, is signing today with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Related Players: Devin Duvernay, Parker Washington, Tim Jones
It's been quite the drop from relevance for the former second-round selection, but he'll have a chance to carve out a role through training camp. It's possible the Jaguars see what they can do with him on special teams.
