NYG WR Tavarres King - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at San Francisco 49ers

Tavarres King had only 33 yards on 3 receptions last week, but he scored a touchdown and was targeted 6 times. The Giants need someone to step up outside the hash marks, and King is trying to win out over Roger Lewis, who has been a disappointment in increased opportunities over the past few weeks. While King isn’t worth trusting, even in a great matchup this week, he’s worth keeping an eye on for future weeks if he can lock down the No. 2 WR spot on the team.

WR Tavarres King - 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Former 2013 5th round pick to Denver Tavarres King signed with the Panthers hoping to win a job on the roster. It seems at this point that he may be on his way to doing that, as he looks primed to be the fourth or fifth WR on the team, pending final cuts on August 30th. The Panthers will look for King to push Jason Avant to play in sub packages and eventually become the WR2 the team has been lacking for years.

Update:
King was cut from the roster as the Panthers trim down to 53. He's a long shot to make an impact elsewhere.

King is a 6’1, 200 lbs physical player out of Georgia who plays a little bigger than he is. He has the opportunity to impress the Panthers coaches and make a name for himself if he can make the final roster, as he sits behind a pair of 30 somethings on the depth chart. While King has very little fantasy value right now, his name is worth remembering should the depth chart work in his favor as the season progresses.
