TEN QB Jake Locker - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jake Locker Week 15 vs. Jets
Jake Locker is back in the saddle in place of injured Zach Mettenberger and gets a chance to show he can get things done before he heads into free agency. He has a great matchup to do so against. The Jets just allowed 309 yards and two scores to rookie Teddy Bridgewater last week and have been bad against the pass all season. Locker's limited in terms of weapons, but he's better than many other options this week.

TEN QB Jake Locker - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jake Locker Week 5 vs. Browns
After sitting out last week with a wrist injury, Jake Locker is probable to return this week. Cleveland has allowed four passing touchdowns in three games. Cleveland is allowing 425.7 total yards per game but much of the damage is coming on the ground. Keep Locker on your bench.

TEN QB Jake Locker - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jake Locker Week 3 vs. Bengals
Jake Locker didn't exactly light up the Dallas defense as expected last week, throwing for 234 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Things won't get any easier for him this week on the road against Cincinnati. The Bengals limited Atlanta to 231 yards and a touchdown last week at Paul Brown Stadium. If you've got a better option than Locker, go with it.

TEN QB Jake Locker - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jake Locker Week 2 vs Dallas
Locker got off to a strong start last week, throwing for 266 yards and a pair of scores against Kansas City. Now, he gets the Dallas defense this week, which is a fine matchup. Locker will also give you a little something on the ground as well. He's a nice sleeper start this week against a Cowboys defense that has a hard time defending.

TEN QB Jake Locker - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Jake Locker Week 1 vs Chiefs
Jake Locker has had his moments in the NFL - when healthy. The problem has been, however, that he hasn't been able to stay healthy. He is healthy, at least for now, and new head coach Ken Whisenhunt will use a short passing game to get the ball out quickly and attempt to keep Locker upright. He should be an OK start this week against the Chiefs, who were just middle of the pack last season against opposing quarterbacks.

TEN QB Jake Locker - 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside
Jake Locker is largely unchallenged as the starting quarterback of the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Downside
Jake Locker has only played 18 games in the past two seasons due to knee, hip and shoulder injuries.

Bottom Line
When the best thing you can say about a player is that he's a starter, that should tell you pretty much everything you need to know. Locker just can't stay healthy. He's had his moments and can also get you some added yardage scrambling, but there's no way you count on him as anything more than a backup.
