ARI RB T.J. Logan - 2017 Fantasy Football Outlook

Fantasy Upside

Rookie running back T.J. Logan underwent surgery to repair a dislocated wrist and will be placed on injured reserve. The fifth-round pick out of North Carolina was injured during the Hall of Fame Game against the Cowboys and will miss at least 12 weeks.

Fantasy Downside

According to the Sports Xchange, head coach Bruce Arians said the team would like to activate Logan off of injured reserve when he is eligible, which would be at or around Week 8 of the regular season. For that to happen, Logan has to stay on the roster until after the cutdown to 53 players.

2017 Bottom Line

The injury is a big blow to the Cardinals, as Arians said he saw enough in just one exhibition game from Logan to be ready to declare the rookie as his primary kickoff and punt returner. Logan returned two kicks for 71 yards against Dallas, including one he broke for a 43-yard gain. He also returned one punt for 10 yards and rushed four times for a team-high 24 yards. But again, don't expect him back until Week 8. And that's the best-case scenario.
