Scouting report

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New Orleans Saints
Jordan Love bounced back to low-end QB1 territory last week, despite the team leaning on Josh Jacobs for a 26-carry performance. We could very well see another of those performances against a banged-up Saints team, so that tampers expectations for Love a little bit. Regardless, New Orleans ranks 24th in QB aFPA, so Love can still be useful on low volume. Consider him a fringe QB1/2 option in hopes that he has another mutli-touchdown game.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 @ Seattle Seahawks
In another game where the ground attack controlled the offensive philosophy, (Josh Jacobs, 18 carries), Jordan Love only dropped back 24 times, his lowest total since Week 8. It's hard to get going on such limited volume, and that was reflected by Love's moderate 14.5-point Week 14. We'll see if that continues here in Week 15, but Seattle's defense has been far more giving than the Lions, in terms of QB production. Consider Love somewhere in the QB15 range, with some other QBs of his caliber in slightly better matchups.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 @ Detroit Lions
Not including his early season injury, Jordan Love has been all over the place in fantasy box scores, putting up duds against awful defenses and more-than-usable performances against defenses that have clamped down other passing attacks. We'll have to hope for the latter again, as the Lions rank 11th in QB aFPA. Love has a fine week-to-week floor, but it's hard to consider him more than a back-end QB1 option in this Week 14 matchup.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Miami Dolphins
Not including his early season injury, Jordan Love has been all over the place in fantasy box scores, putting up duds against awful defenses and more-than-usable performances against defenses that have clamped down other passing attacks. We'll have to hope for the latter again, as the Dolphins rank 10th in QB aFPA. Love has a fine week-to-week floor, but it's hard to consider him more than a high-end QB2 option in this Thanksgiving Evening matchup.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. San Francisco 49ers
Not including his early season injury, Jordan Love has been all over the place in fantasy box scores, putting up duds against awful defenses and more-than-usable performances against defenses that have clamped down other passing attacks. We'll have to hope for the latter again, as the 49ers rank 9th in QB aFPA. Love has a fine week-to-week floor, but it's hard to consider him more than a low-end QB1 option in this matchup.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 @ Chicago Bears
Love's final few months of the 2023 season were simply too good to overlook, and he has proven that in his four healthy weeks this season. The Packers' skill position group is loaded with options to test defenses in all areas of the field, which would cover any shortcomings that Love hasn't already overcome. He gets a tough stretch of games coming out of the Bye Week, kicking off with the Chicago Bears on the road, so move him down to the QB1/2 fringe for now.

GB QB Jordan Love - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Detroit Lions
Love's final few months of the 2023 season were simply too good to overlook, and he has proven that in his four healthy weeks this season. The Packers' skill position group is loaded with options to test defenses in all areas of the field, which would cover any shortcomings that Love hasn't already overcome. He gets yet another positive matchup against a Lions defense that ranks 20th in QB aFPA in what could hopefully be a shootout, if the weather holds up. Consider him a high-end QB2 in Week 9.
