Scouting report

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Cardinals

Olsen quietly remains the most-used tight end for the Seahawks, playing double the snaps in Week 10 as Jacob Hollister. But Olsen hasn't caught more than two passes in a game since Week 4 and only has one touchdown on the season. He's just inside our top 25 TEs for the week.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Bills

Yet again, the tight ends were extremely quiet for Seattle, with a combined two catches. Olsen didn't have any, but did see the most targets, with four. Seattle also now has one less tight end, after releasing Luke Willson. Cross your fingers if you have to start Olsen, Will Dissly or Jacob Hollister.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs 49ers

Olsen barely cracks our top-25 tight ends this week as Seattle just hardly throws to the tight ends. And even when they do, Seattle mixes up their tight ends that it's always tough to figure out which one will actually see targets.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Cardinals

The tight end position continues to be extremely quiet for the Seahawks. Greg Olsen leads the way, but he's a distant fourth in the pecking order behind Metcalf, Lockett and Carson. Until someone steps forward, continue to stay away from Seahawks tight ends.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs Vikings

Still not much coming from the tight ends in Seattle. Olsen is easily the best of the bunch through four games, but he still only has 120 yards and a touchdown. He is far and away the most-targeted tight end for the Seahawks with 18 (next closest is Will Dissly with seven). Olsen might be an option for TE-flex leagues but is sitting as our No. 19 TE for the week. Despite all the excitement in Seattle, proceed with caution with the Seahawks tight ends.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Cowboys

Russ is cooking and the receivers are hot. But the tight ends have been very quiet through two weeks. Olsen is leading the way among the Seahawks tight ends, but only has four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. Will Dissly only has three catches and Jacob Hollister has just one. The receivers (mainly Metcalf and Lockett), as well as Chris Carson, are getting most of the looks and the tight ends almost negate each other for fantasy purposes. This is currently a situation to try and avoid if you can.

SEA TE Greg Olsen - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs Broncos

Greg Olsen wanted to be more than just a veteran presence in Seattle's offense when he came over after leaving the Panthers. He started on the right foot with four catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. Only Metcalf, Lockett and Carson were targeted more in Week 1 than Olsen. Jacob Hollister and Will Dissly cap Olsen's ceiling a bit, leading to Olsen being ranked No. 21 among tight ends this week. But early looks show that Wilson will look Olsen's way at times.
