MIA QB Brock Osweiler - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Green Bay Packers

The Brock Osweiler experience continues at Lambeau Field, with the Dolphins having an extremely low implied team total of fewer than 20 points in Week 10. Despite some early success for the Brock Lobster due to ridiculous run after catch production from his receivers, he's come back down to Earth. He's posted less than 10 points in consecutive weeks. There's no reason to start Osweiler in Week 10.

Week 8 vs. New York Jets

Brocktober gives way to Brockvember, as there's still no sign of Ryan Tannehill's return. And last week, the Osweiler we all know and love returned, capped by what may have been the first backward incomplete pass any of us have ever seen. It was truly a remarkable accomplishment for Brock Nation. So are we going to suggest Osweiler back in Hard Brock Stadium against the Jets? Nah.

Week 8 at Houston Texans (Thursday)

Brocktoberfest rolls on in H-Town without two key members of the Dolphins receiving core - Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson. Houston is a good match-up in terms of aFPA to QBs, but Miami has the second lowest implied team total on the Week 8 slate of 18.5. Without a full array of weapons, we cannot recommend Osweiler as a streaming option.

Week 7 vs. Detroit Lions

Brocktober! Osweiler brocked you like a hurricane last week to the tune of 24 fantasy points, but if you watched that game you know most of the production came on runs after the catch. We aren't exactly bracing for Brock mania in Week 7. The Dolphins are still among the worst in the league in plays per game, and Osweiler still threw two picks against Chicago. Hard pass on Osweiler as any kind of potential streaming quarterback this week.

DEN QB Brock Osweiler - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

In another poor showing on the road, Brock Osweiler and the Denver offense struggled to move the ball at Washington last week. The QB finished with 193 passing yards and an interception, and was sacked 4 times. It was the first time, in five appearances, he failed to toss at least one touchdown this season. At the end of October in Kansas City, Trevor Siemian threw for 198 yards with 1 TD and 3 interceptions. The Chiefs have nothing to play for, which could lead to a decent fantasy day if Osweiler is the Denver starter.

DEN QB Brock Osweiler - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Washington

After Trevor Siemian left last Thursday night’s game at Indianapolis with a shoulder injury, Brock Osweiler became the first QB in NFL history to throw for 2 TDs and run for another after not starting. In the comeback win, Osweiler gave the offense a spark, going 12-of-17 for 194 yards. His multiple passing TD performance was his first of the season, despite starting three contests in November. If he is the starter, Osweiler had extra time to prepare for Washington's No. 16 ranked pass defense, but he should only be used as a low-end QB2 option, if named the starter.
