The Commanders are making a kicking change.

Cade York missed a pair of field goals in Sunday’s 37-20 loss to the Buccaneers and the Commanders announced that he has been released on Monday. York did make both extra points he tried during the game.

The Jets added kicker Austin Seibert after ruling out Greg Zuerlein for Week 2 with a groin injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Zuerlein was initially listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. He is now officially not going to play in Week 2. Seibert will kick for the Jets against the Cowboys. Seibert appeared in three games last season for the Lions and went 4/5 on field goals and 12/12 on extra points. He is a career 80% field goal kicker (44/55) and a 90% extra-point kicker (55/61). That includes a perfect 25/25 on field goals within 40 yards.

Lions cut K Dominik Eberle

Lions kicker Dominik Eberle’s first game in Detroit was also his last.

Eberle, called up for the Lions against the Seahawks on Sunday to fill in for the injured kicker Austin Seibert, was waived today.

Fantasy Impact:
