Scouting report

DET WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs Cardinals

Amon-Ra St. Brown has established himself as the clear-cut top option in the passing game, combining for 18 receptions, 159 yards, and a touchdown in his last two games. St. Brown should see a healthy workload once again as the safety valve for Jared Goff with D'Andre Swift out of the lineup for another game and T.J. Hockenson out for the season.

The Cardinals defense rank 11th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game, making this a tough matchup. However, St. Brown is likely to see eight or more targets in this game. This puts him on the radar as a WR3, especially in full-PPR formats.

DET WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Broncos

Amon-Ra St. Brown had his breakout game last week, catching 10-of-12 targets for 81 yards and a touchdown. He acted as the safety outlet in the underneath passing game for Jared Goff. We can expect this to continue with D'Andre Swift out for another game. St. Brown takes on a Broncos defense that ranks 16th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game allowed to wideouts.

DET WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Rams

Amon-Ra St. Brown is my preferred choice among the worst receiving corps in football. The rookie is starting to see increased usage lately, totaling 23 targets in his last three games. He can act as Goff's safety valve and soak up targets underneath while he's under duress from this Rams' pass rush.

The rookie goes up against a Rams defense that ranks ninth in aFPA to wideouts, but St. Brown primarily lines up in the slot (80.56%), so he likely won't have to deal with the likes of Jalen Ramsey. St. Brown has a decent full-PPR floor due to this uptick in targets, but he's less appealing in half-PPR formats.

DET WR Amon-Ra St. Brown - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Bengals

St. Brown is starting to emerge as the top wideout in this offense, catching 13-of-16 targets for 135 yards in his last two games. The rookie has led the team with a 23.53% target share during that span, establishing himself as a safety outlet for quarterback Jared Goff. We could see the Lions rely on the rookie even more with wideout Quintez Cephus now out for the season.

St. Brown goes up against a Bengals defense that ranks 21st in aFPA, so this is a good spot for him to keep up the solid production. We could see him have an increased role if T.J. Hockenson is forced to miss this game due to his knee injury. Make sure to pick up St. Brown if you're in a deeper league before this game because if he has another strong performance, he'll be a fixture on every Waiver Wire column.
