Jaguars promote practice squad WR; indication Allen Hurns (ankle) will be out

The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted receiver Jaelen Strong to the active roster, an indication Allen Hurns will miss his sixth consecutive game.

Hurns (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity all week and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco (4-10). Fellow receiver Marqise Lee (ankle) already has been ruled out.

Fantasy Impact:

Lee is already out, so if Hurns is also out it would clear the way for Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole to work as the primary receivers against the 49ers. Both have seen double-digit targets in games over the past three weeks, with Cole scoring in the last three weeks. Westbrook and Cole could be sneaky starts in Week 16.
