CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Minnesota Vikings

After having two decent games, Kendall Wright went back to mediocrity with a 27-yard performance on 4 catches. He was targeted a team-high 6 times, but no Bears receiver is really worth trusting for fantasy purposes. On top of that, the Bears get a tough matchup this week with the Vikings' strong secondary. Wright is a poor option in standard leagues and a WR4 or WR5 at best in PPR.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Cleveland Browns

Kendall Wright has led the Bears in receiving for two straight games now. He finished with 81 yards on 7 receptions last week after being targeted a team-high 13 times. Wright has developed into an interesting PPR option lately, but his production relies solely on how much Chicago feels like passing the ball.

Due to the Bears' shakiness in the passing game, Wright should be treated as a major risk. He could get you double-digit points in PPR, making him an intriguing WR4 play.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Detroit Lions

Kendall Wright had a strong 10-catch, 107-yard game last week. The performance seemingly came out of nowhere and we highly doubt we'll see a game like it again. No Bears receiver is worth starting in fantasy this week.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Green Bay Packers

Kendall Wright leads the Bears in receiving yards this season, but that's not saying much as he has just 259 yards through eight games. He's still the top wideout in this offense, leading Chicago in targets (8) the last time they played, but he simply doesn't produce enough for fantasy purposes.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New Orleans Saints

The Bears only had 4 pass completions last week, and Kendall Wright caught none of them. When Mike Glennon was at quarterback, Wright carried some value as the Bears were at least passing then. But with Chicago cutting back so much in the passing game, Wright has lost practically all of his fantasy value. Just leave him on the waiver wire.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Carolina Panthers

The Bears cut Deonte Thompson last week, leaving Kendall Wright as the only main receiving threat in this offense. But with the Bears so reliant on the ground, it's left practically nothing for the receivers. If Mitch Trubisky continues to only complete 8 passes a game, then no Bears receiver is going to be overly relevant.

Through six games, Wright is averaging under 40 yards and has just one score on the season. It's safe to say you probably shouldn't look at him as a strong fantasy option this week.

CHI WR Kendall Wright - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Baltimore Ravens

Kendall Wright is easily the most relevant receiver in the Bears' offense. Last week he led the team in receptions (4) and receiving yards (46). As you can tell, though, those numbers aren't exactly eye-popping. The Bears' passing offense is a mess, and just because Wright is the No. 1 option doesn't mean he's worth fantasy consideration.

On top of everything else, this will be a tough matchup for Wright. The Ravens have been tough on wideouts this season, and Wright will likely struggle to get many yards. Wright is a WR5, or in other words, an option best left on your bench or the waiver wire.
