10 Undervalued Fantasy Football Sleepers on Yahoo
Comparing the difference between a player's 4for4’s ranking and his Yahoo ADP allows us to unearth the most undervalued fantasy sleepers on the site.
Ten of our top Yahoo sleepers for 2017 are discussed below, followed by two tables that list the fantasy value for every player 4for4 has ranked in the top 200 in standard and PPR. The tables are sorted by Sleeper Score, which is simply ADP minus 4for4 ranking; the higher the Sleeper Score, the more undervalued a player is.

QB Matthew Stafford - Lions
Stafford is being drafted more than two rounds later than he should be in the 11th round. Stafford has also been a top-12 quarterback four of the past five sesons, including a QB7 finish last year. He's in good company. The only other active quarterbacks with at least four top-12 fantasy seasons in the past six years are: Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees.
QB Andy Dalton - Bengals
Dalton is being drafted in the 14th round. It should be noted that Dalton managed a top-12 fantasy season in 2012 and a top-five (!) season in 2013. Given this information, and how early other quarterbacks are being drafted on Yahoo, I might even be tempted to literally wait until the 13th round to draft a QB on this site (and roster these two names).
RB Ty Montgomery - Packers
Montgomery is one of the best values among our top 20 RBs. The sixth round is just great value for a dual-threat back like Montgomery. Plus, Joe Holka’s Rushing Expectation series found that the tape don’t lie on Montgomery. He’s on a high-powered offense that didn’t sign a free-agent back and waited until the fourth round of the NFL Draft to take one.
RB Danny Woodhead - Ravens
Woodhead is the best PPR value in Yahoo leagues among our top-20 RBs, with an ADP in the 12th round. With Kenneth Dixon out for the year, and the Ravens now needing to replace 300+ targets from last season, Woodhead should be dynamite. The big if is staying healthy, as he's missed close to two full seasons in two of the past three years, but at this price, roll the dice.
WR Pierre Garcon - 49ers
After being reunited with his old offensive coordinator, Kyle Shanahan, Garcon finds himself as the best value in Yahoo leagues among 4for4’s top-24 wideouts. He has an extremely high target ceiling in an offense that should produce high-volume passing because the team will likely be falling behind frequently. Garcon's ADP (11th round) is 86 spots lower than his 4for4 top-200 ranking -- insane value.
