FanDuel Week 15 Cash Game Breakdown
SUNDAY UPDATE: Earlier in the week, I thought Russell Wilson had the slightest of edges over Carson Palmer ($8,700) as the top cash game option at QB. However, with wet and windy weather expected in Seattle, Palmer now looks to be the safer choice, as he will be playing in decent weather and in what is likely to be a faster paced game with less potential for a blowout than Seahawks-Browns.
All reports indicate Calvin Johnson (questionable, ankle) missed Saturday practice merely for rest puroses, but given the slight uncertainty that comes with the Monday night kickoff time, Julio Jones ($8,600) now looks like the safest choice at WR. If using a lineup similar to the one below, I'd suggest bumping down to Palmer at QB as discussed above, then bumping down to the Patriots ($5,000) at defense and going with a cheaper kicker. The Patriots (our second-best value at defense) aren't as sexy of a choice as Seattle, but they are second in the NFL in sacks and are 14-point home favorites against a Titans team that ranks 29th in DEF aFPA. Our top values at kicker $4,600 and under are close, but I'd rank them: Blair Walsh, Matt Prater, Kai Forbath.
As a final note, I also believe Danny Amendola ($7,000) and Antonio Gates ($5,800) are viable options in cash games.
In a nutshell, cash games are about finding value while getting exposure to the top projected offenses of the week. Especially in FanDuel's 0.5-PPR format, you really need TDs out of your lineup; a player could have a "good" day yardage-wise, but if he fails to reach the end zone, he may not return sufficient value. This week, the Patriots, Seahawks, Panthers, Cardinals, Saints, and Jaguars all have Vegas implied totals of 26 or more. Throw in the Lions, who are facing a Saints defense that has given up the most offensive TDs in the league, and we have the teams from which to build our player pool. All the players below will be drawn from the aforementioned offenses. There are also a few other options from those teams that could be used as well, such as Tom Brady ($9,500), Cam Newton ($9,400), Carson Palmer ($8,700), Julius Thomas ($6,200), and the Patriots defense ($5,000). With six double-digit fantasy outings in its last seven games, the Chiefs defense ($5,200) is in play as well.

QB Russell Wilson $8,800 vs. CLE
Wilson has been divine over the past four weeks, averaging 318 total yards and 4.3 total TDs per game to go along with a 16:0 TD-to-INT ratio. He also has not thrown for less than 3 TDs in a game during that span. The Seahawks have a team total above 28 points this weekend, and Wilson has accounted for 85% of their offensive TDs over the last four games -- a figure that may increase with Thomas Rawls (ankle) out. The Browns, meanwhile, rank 30th in QB aFPA and 29th in passing TD% allowed (6.1%).
