Stacking the Deck: FanDuel & DraftKings Stacks for Week 4
This season at 4for4 we will be providing subscribers with not just Value Reports for the individual players at each position, but reports that valuate every stack in terms of projected points per dollar, or Stack Value Reports, to help you construct your tournament rosters.
When constructing your tournament lineup you should be looking for any edge you can find to create a high ceiling lineup that is unique and positively correlated. Last week in the NFL we saw some extremely high scores in fantasy, and though I believe this to be somewhat of an outlier to how the rest of the season will go, there is one thing in particular we can learn. A preconceived notion among fantasy owners that running backs in a committee have a lower ceiling, but last week we watched LeGarrette Blount and Joseph Randle go off for three touchdowns each. Owners who were not scared of these situations were rewarded. Not only were these committe backs great plays, but their counterparts Dion Lewis and Lance Dunbar, respectively, also produced very good games. Some offenses can support more than one running back and you shouldn't dismiss an unpopular option that could diversify your tournament lineup.
That was my tangent on committee running backs -- now back to your regularly-scheduled stacking article. Stacking is a great opportunity to gain uniqueness and upside in your lineups, but be sure to take in consideration the trends that are now forming after three weeks have come and gone in the NFL season. Here are my top stacks for Week 4.

Top Stacks
Tyrod Taylor ($5800 DK / $7600 FD) & Charles Clay ($2500 DK / $5200 FD) vs. NYG
Tyrod Taylor has well exceeded expectations through three weeks under offensive coordinator Greg Roman's system in Buffalo. Not only does Taylor do a lot of damage as a runner, but he has shown great accuracy and anticipation as a thrower. The chemistry between Taylor and Clay has continued to grow and I'd expect nothing less this week against the New York Giants. Clay has shown he can hurt opposing defenses in many different ways and with number one wide receiver Sammy Watkins’s Week 4 status in question due to a strained calf, Clay should see considerable volume. The Giants are one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL and surrendered over 300 yards to Kirk Cousins last week. According to our Stack Value Reports, Taylor-Clay is our number-one ranked stack on DraftKings and our number-nine stack on FanDuel in terms of $/point.
