DraftKings Week 7 GPP Breakdown
Week 6 Millionaire Maker winner Dirty6613 took down the grand prize with a strong lineup that took advantage of four players owned by under five percent of the field.
Every spot in the lineup -- including defense -- scored at least one TD. His lineup shows the importance of nailing the WR position, as all of his WRs eclipsed 130 yards and scored a TD. He was greedy when others were fearful with regards to rostering Matthew Stafford, Alshon Jeffery, and Steve L Smith.
In the space below, I'll focus on players I believe to be strong tournament plays based on their potential for high volume, multi-touchdown upside, and low projected ownership. I won't blurb the chalk plays (Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers, Devonta Freeman, Todd Gurley, Larry Fitzgerald, DeAndre Hopkins, John Brown, Martavis Bryant, Stefon Diggs*, Antonio Gates*, and the Rams) -- they're all justifiable GPP options (with Freeman and Gurley being particularly elite options), but you won't take home big money by stuffing your entire lineup with chalk. Use chalk plays selectively, a few at a time, filling out the rest of your roster with players likely to be low-owned who have high-volume and multi-touchdown upside in their range of outcomes. As usual, I draw heavily from my Ownership Outlook column, and all the players I highlight below are players I believe you should have more exposure to than the field. Since who you fade can be just as important as who you play in a GPP, I've also added a "Fades" section at the end where I briefly highlight any highly-owned players that I believe you should have less exposure to than the field, or no exposure at all to.

After playing only 15 percent of the snaps in Week 1, Michael Floyd ($3,200) has drawn 20 percent of the Cardinals’ red zone targets since Week 2; just as many as John Brown. Floyd has seen seven or more targets in two of his last three outings, and has seen targets at least 20 yards downfield on 38 percent of his routes. Against Baltimore defense ranked 31st in WR aFPA, downfield threat Floyd could pay off his near minimum-salary in one play. The Ravens have allowed the fourth-most 20-yard passing plays in the league. Floyd was in two percent of lineups on Thursday FanDuel slates.
