4 Late-Round Running Back and Tight End MFL10 Values

As we approach the final two months of the fantasy draft season, there are still some values that can be had in MFL10 drafts. Average draft position (ADP) for a majority of players has settled, at least until training camps and the preseason start. There will, of course, be a player who signs a big deal, gets arrested, fails a drug test, or falls over in a bathtub that will affect his ADP.

Here, I’ll take a look at a pair of rookie running backs with high upside and a pair of cheap tight ends who could return a nice value. Having your studs stay healthy and put up a ton of points gets you high up in the standings, while having a late picked player put up a few great weeks can put you over the top and give you the win.

What do you get when you combine a rookie running back, a 33-year-old running back, and a strong offensive team bound for a bounce-back year? Opportunity!

When drafting a very late-round running back, opportunity is all that you can hope for. The majority of late round running backs will never crack your starting lineup over the course of the season, but the ones that breakout could be league winners. In an MFL10 where you are shooting for first and there are no waivers, you need to take calculated shots like Ferguson. While Gore has been churning out 1,000-yard seasons since 2006 (just shy in 2010 with 853 yards and 967 in 2015), he is 33 years old and as they say, father time is undefeated. Just imagine the opportunity Ferguson would have if Gore ended up on the IR-- Gore had 260 rush attempts last year on a semi-crippled offense and Ferguson could approach that number if he were to take over.

The odds of your 18th round running back putting up points is slim to start with, so why not take a shot with a guy who has one of the better upside spots out there.
