Stacking the Deck: FanDuel & DraftKings Stacks for Week 2
Welcome back to Stacking the Deck.
This season at 4for4 we will be providing subscribers with Value Reports and Stack Value Reports that value every stack in terms of projected points/$. We also use our Adjusted Fantasy Points Against (aFPA) metric, which has been adjusted to reflect offseason transactions, heavily in the column.
What’s new this year is we know have the have the advantage of putting into practice two great offseason studies from my colleague, Senior DFS Editor, Chris Raybon: The Definitive Guide to Stacking on FanDuel and The Definitive Guide to Stacking on DraftKings.
Leverage and value are both crucial when stacking players each week, with contrarian lineup construction being a great way to diversify yourself in GPPs. We are going to focus on positive correlations in this column, but also put a higher emphasis on leverage plays.
The following are my top stacks for Week 2 on both FanDuel and DraftKings:
FanDuel Stacks
Jay Cutler ($6800) & Alshon Jeffery($7,800) vs PHI
Chicago is a slight home favorite with a team total right around the NFL average (22.75). Jeffery has the seventh-highest ceiling in our projections (23.6). The Bears will look to get Jeffery matched up against seventh-round cornerback Jalen Mills in Week 2 with the Eagles top corner, Leodis McKelvin, out with an injured hamstring. Jeffery is one of the better deep threats in the league and should be able to get loose for a couple of long gains like he did last week against the Texans (catches of 58 and 44 yards). The Cutler-Jeffery stack is the seventh-ranked stack in terms of value on our FanDuel Stack Value Reports.
