---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Eddie Lacy | RB | Seahawks | Strained Groin | RULED OUT FOR THURSDAY, 2-3 Weeks | Thomas Rawls | Lacy injured his groin against the Redskins and did not return. With the Seahawks scheduled to play Thursday night, it is highly unlikely that Lacy would be ready for that game. |
Dez Bryant | WR | Cowboys | Sprained Knee, High Ankle Sprain | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley | Dez was able to get in a limited practice on Friday which puts him in line to play on Sunday. The Cowboys will likely put him through warm-ups to make sure there's no irritation or setback, but it looks like Bryant will play against the Falcons. How effective he'll be will be the question as those who return from high ankle sprains could struggle with cutting and getting out of routes. |
Jameis Winston | QB | Buccaneers | Sprained Shoulder | RULED OUT FOR SUNDAY, Week to Week | Ryan Fitzpatrick | The Bucs are planning to shut down Winston for at least a week or two to reduce the aggravation to his throwing shoulder. There's a good chance that he doesn't miss much time, but with the Bucs not in playoff contention, they'll be cautious with Winston to make sure he's as close to 100% when he returns. |
Terrance Williams | WR | Cowboys | high ankle sprain | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Cole Beasley | Williams was not on the final injury report so all signs point to him being ready for Week 10. With Dez Bryant banged up, he could be a sneaky option to consider. |
Demarco Murray | RB | Titans | Sprained Knee | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Derrick Henry | Murray was not listed on the final injury report heading into Week 10. He'll continue to try and play through his knee issue, but it seems like every game he gets banged up which limits his productiion. |
Trent Taylor | WR | 49ers | Rib Injury | RULED OUT FOR SUNDAY, Week to Week | Victor Bolden, Aldrick Robinson | Taylor suffered a rib fracture and will sit out through the 49ers Week 11 bye to hopefully be available in Week 12. |
Matt Forte | RB | Jets | Knee Pain | RULED OUT FOR SUNDAY | Bilal Powell, Elijah McGuire | Forte continues to be limited due to swelling in his knee, and there's no indication as to what could be causing the swelling. Forte will likely undergo more testing to determine why the swelling exists to determine if there's an underlying issue. |
Devonta Freeman | RB | Falcons | Sprained Knee | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Tevin Coleman | Freeman practiced fully on Thursday and Friday, which should allow the Falcons to use him as they normally would. |
Vernon Davis | TE | Redskins | Injured Hand | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Jordan Reed | Davis has been a full participant in practice after being limited on Wednesday. With Jordan Reed out Sunday, Reed will be the primary TE and should be very productive. |
T.Y. Hilton | WR | Colts | Strained Groin | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Donte Moncrief | Hilton was added to the injury report on Thursday and was a limited participant both Thursday and Friday. Adam Schefter reports that despite the groin injury, Hilton is expected to play Sunday. I'd expect the Colts to see how he feels in warm-ups first before giving him the green light. There's some risk here with Hilton as an in-game aggravation could occur, but he has been very productive with Jacoby Brissett as of late so it'd be hard to sit him if he's active. |

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
C.J. Prosise | RB | Seahawks | Sprained Ankle | EXPECTED TO PLAY THURSDAY | J.D. McKissic | Prosise has been practice in full this week, so it is likely that he will return for Thursday night football against the Cardinals. It remains to be seen if the Seahawks will be cautious with him, or if they plan to use him as they normally would. Last time Prosise tried to play he hurt himself on the first play. |
Zach Ertz | TE | Eagles | Strained Hamstring | Week to Week | Brent Celek | Ertz did not feel comfortable in warm-ups this past week with his hamstring, so the Eagles decided to hold him out. With the Eagles on bye in Week 10, there's a good chance Ertz should be fine for Week 11. |
Jordan Reed | TE | Redskins | Strained Hamstring | NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Vernon Davis | After returning to a limited practice both Wednesday and Thursday, Reed did not practie Friday, which is not a good sign. Reed likely experienced some new soreness and potentially had a setback. |
Sam Bradford | QB | Vikings | Knee Bone Bruise | Placed on IR, Season Over | Case Keenum, Teddy Bridgewater | Bradford had his knee scoped this week and was put on IR, ending his season. Bridgewater is the QB you want for the Vikings. |
Chris Hogan | WR | Patriots | DNP, Sprained Shoulder | NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY, 1-2 Weeks | Phillip Dorsett | Hogan is apparently still in a sling and has not practice at all this week. He will not play Week 10 and remains without a timetable. |
Teddy Bridgewater | QB | Vikings | Knee Surgery | Practicing Fully | Case Keenum | Bridgewater is practicing fully, which is awesome to see given the injury he sustained. Bridgewater should step in for Keenum once he falters, and although it's hard to figure out how he'll look, he's a great speculative add should you need help. |
Niles Paul | TE | Redskins | Concussion | QUESTIONABLE FOR SUNDAY, Day to Day | Jordan Reed, Vernon Davis | Paul has missed practice on both Thursday and Friday. Although he is listed questionable, he is looking unlikely to play. Vernon Davis becomes a good option to consider. |
Terrance West | RB | Ravens | Strained Calf | Week to Week | Alex Collins | The Ravens are on bye this week, so hopefully West will be able to return to practice after their bye. With Danny Woodhead close to returning as well, it is going to be a crowded backfield for West to have an impact. |
Jamison Crowder | WR | Redskins | Strained Hamstring | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Josh Doctson, Terelle Pryor | Crowder has been limited all week, but Adam Schefter reports that Crowder is expected to play against the Vikings. |
Kenny Golladay | WR | Lions | Strained Hamstring | QUESTIONABLE FOR SUNDAY, Day to Day | Marvin Jones | Golladay will be a game time decision as he'll test out his hamstring during warm-ups to see if he'll be active. He's trending in the right direction but can't be trusted this week. |
Martellus Bennett | TE | Packers | Sprained Shoulder | QUESTIONABLE FOR SUNDAY, Week to Week | Rob Gronkowski | Bennett was a limited participant later in the week compared to being a full participant earlier in the week. There's a good chance Bennett does not play this Sunday in hopes that he's 100% next week. |
Corey Coleman | WR | Browns | Broken Hand | Week to Week | Kenny Britt | Coleman is returning to practice this week after being designated to return from IR for the Browns. The Browns will have 3 weeks to activate him and put him on the active roster, which would be a welcomed site for them. Coleman should step into his normal role when he is activated and I wouldn't expect the Browns to limit him in any way when he does return. |
Andrew Luck | QB | Colts | Shoulder Labral Repair | Out For Season | Jacoby Brissett | What a disastrous 2017 season for Luck. The Colts will shut his throwing program down and focus mainly on just rehabbing the shoulder in hopes that the discomfort he's dealing with corrects itself. Surgery is still an option should he not show any progress, but this is something to keep an eye on for the future. |
David Johnson | RB | Cardinals | Wrist Surgery | Eligible to return Week 12 | Adrian Peterson | Coach Arians recently told reporters that it was doubtful that Johnson would return this year from his wrist surgery. With the Cardinals in flux with Carson Palmergoing down with an injury, there's a possibility that they shut Johnson down depending on if the Cardinals start to lose. Add in the fact that they have Adrian Peterson, and it's not a lock that Johnson returns this season. |
Charles Clay | TE | Bills | Knee Surgery | EXPECTED TO PLAY SUNDAY | Nick O'Leary | Clay has been limited in practice all week with signs pointing that he'll make his return after knee surgery this week against the Saints. Clay could be eased back into snaps, but becomes a good streaming option if he |
Greg Olsen | TE | Panthers | Foot Surgery | Eligible to Week 12 | Ed Dickson | Olsen is eligible to return to practice. Hopefully he'll ramp up his activities and not experiencing any soreness which will allow him to return in Week 12. |
Aaron Rodgers | QB | Packers | Collarbone Surgery | Eligible to return Week 15 | Brent Hundley | Adam Schefter reports that Rodgers could start throwing around 6 weeks after surgery. While this is definitely possible, there are still a lot of things that need to occur just to get to that point. |
Danny Woodhead | RB | Ravens | Strained Hamstring | Eligible to return Week 11 | Alex Collins, Jarvoris Allen | Woodhead returned to practice and looks to be ready to return when the Ravenscome out of their bye. Add him now if you have the roster flexibility. |
Carson Palmer | QB | Cardinals | Broken Arm | Eligible to return Week 16 | Drew Stanton, Blaine Gabbert | Palmer is droppable in all leagues as he will not make it back to make an impact for fantasy football purposes. |
