Week 15 Fantasy Football Practice News & Notes for Friday

Rams QB Brandon Allen (back, doubtful) missed practice again Friday and is doubtful for Week 15.

Jaguars QB Blake Bortles (right wrist) took full practice reps all week. Bortles has scored two touchdowns in each of his last three games—4 pass, 2 rush—and he has a fantastic matchup with the Texans, who are No. 30 in QB aFPA. Bortles’ willingness to run the ball (145 rushing yards in his last six games) has raised his floor.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (achilles) was removed from the injury report Friday after taking full practice reps Thursday. No worries here. Brady will be out there against the Steelers. In his last three games against Pittsburgh, Brady has completed 76-of-100 passes for 894 yards (8.94 YPA) with 9 touchdowns and no interceptions.

Ravens QB Ryan Mallett (hips, questionable) was limited Friday after taking full reps earlier in the week and is questionable for Week 15.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota (knee) took full practice reps all week. It looks like Mariota is a go for Week 15. He has a good matchup but has been a big disappointment this year.

Dolphins QB Matt Moore (foot, doubtful) took limited practice reps again Friday and is doubtful for Week 15.

Panthers QB Cam Newton (right shoulder) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. Newton is a great start against a very forgiving Packer secondary.

Bills QB Nathan Peterman (concussion, out) took full practice reps again Friday and is out for Week 15.

Texans QB Tom Savage (concussion, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 15. T.J. Yates will get the start.

Bills QB Tyrod Taylor (knee) took full practice reps all week. It looks like Taylor will get the start in Week 15. He is usually a solid fantasy play at home, and it doesn’t look like the weather will be a problem on Sunday.
