IDP Waiver Wire: Week 13 Pickups and Matchup Plays
The bye weeks are over and I'm hoping you guys are in the playoffs or competing for spots. Hopefully, injuries haven't hindered your squads too much. The big injuries coming out of Week 12 - Josh Bynes, Tony Jefferson and Xavier Rhodes (for those in CB-premium leagues). I can't believe it, but Week 13 is here, so let's see who you can target off your waiver wire.
Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire
Defensive Line
Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Arizona Cardinals (36 snaps/52 percent)
Nkimdiche was dealing with injuries over the last few weeks, but came on strong in Week 12 against the Chargers. He ended up appearing in 36 snaps and produced .67 points per snap. That was aided by 2.5 sacks and 10 tackles. After watching Green Bay's offensive line play against Minnesota, it's not unreasonable to think Nkemdiche could get a sack if he gets the usage. He'll be worth picking up in DT-premium leagues this week.
Joey Bosa, DE, Los Angeles Chargers (33 snaps/70 percent)
Might be the only time he makes this list. If he's still available because of an impatient owner, it's pretty clear Bosa is back. He dominated Arizona's offensive line for a 25 percent QB pressure rate - converting two of his pressures into sacks. Up next is a prime-time matchup with the Steelers. Bosa has generated a career pressure rate of 15.1 percent.
Carl Nassib, DE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (47 snaps/73 percent)
He makes the list again this week as he continues to make life miserable for opposing QBs. He's recorded double-digit fantasy points in consecutive games and now has sacks in four-straight weeks. Over that span, he's producing an 11.6 percent pressure rate. His lack of tackles makes him worth a pick-up in big play scoring formats.
