Streaming Tight Ends: Week 17 Targets
The majority of the fantasy world has shut it down for 2019, but if you’re still playing and need some tight end help, I’m here for you.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

Mike Gesicki was my top streamer for Week 16 with 26.2 PPR points (TE2), while Jonnu Smith was also in starter range as the TE10 on the week. Our goal in all this is starting tight end results and after 16 weeks, 4for4’s optimal streamer has scored 239.7 PPR points, which equates to TE2 numbers on the season.
Top Streaming Picks
Jonnu Smith (Titans) @ Texans
Smith is in a great spot this week, as the Titans are playing to keep on playing. They draw a Texans team ranked dead last in tight end aFPA, a unit who Smith torched for 117 combined yards just a few weeks ago.
The third-year tight end is carving out a nice role for himself as the season winds down, as he’s produced 209 total yards and two touchdowns over the past three weeks. Fire Smith up if you’re in need of a reliable streamer, as he’s only rostered in 15% of Yahoo! leagues.
