2021 Open Championship Preview

The Open Championship is finally back after a two-year wait. Located in Sandwich, England, off the North Sea coast, Royal St. George’s Golf Club is a true links-style course known as one of the most difficult Open venues. With so many variables thrown into the mix, including a lower-third of the playing field lacking statistical data, this is a tough tournament to model. Rest assured, yours truly put together the best model possible (see below). However, if there was ever a week to depend more on trends, experience and other specific attributes, i.e. success on links courses, in difficult conditions and in major tournaments, this is that week.
