2022 Sony Open Round 4 Betting & Showdown Picks
Russell Henley did just enough to maintain his lead in Saturday's third round of the Sony Open. Struggling at times, he made a few key putts down the stretch to take a two-shot lead over Hideki Matsuyama. Hitting only 25 putts the entire round, the Japanese star was uncharacteristically on fire on the greens, gaining 3.8 strokes on the field. The Masters champion has been slowly rising up the leaderboard and poses a serious threat to what had been a comfortable lead for Henley coming into Saturday's round. A group of six players sit 4-5 shots back. While one of them could shoot a low number, I see this is a two-man race with either Henley (+115) or Matsuyama (+230) raising the trophy. If forced to choose one contender from the pack that is trailing, I would go with Kevin Kisner (+3300) because of his ability to get ultra-hot with the putter.
