NASCAR Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum Betting Preview and Best Bets

4for4 Nation! If you’re reading this, welcome to the world of NASCAR betting! The 2022 season kicks off with an exhibition race on a brand new short track specifically built for this event inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It is a quarter-mile long with no banking in the corners. Although exciting, without data, it is a nearly impossible handicap. Fear not, you’re sitting shotgun with the best in the business.

First, though, let’s add another wrinkle. NASCAR has unveiled the brand new “Next-Gen” car for this season. In theory, the new vehicle will level the playing field between the lower-funded teams and the perennial powerhouse squads. Little data. Limited testing. No track history. No problem.

In our estimation, this track will compare most closely with Martinsville. We can also glean information from other flat, short tracks such as New Hampshire and Richmond. The tight turns constructed in the L.A. Coliseum mirror several road courses on the Cup circuit as well. We need a guy who is a short-track ace, has experience driving lots of different types of vehicles and can wheel it on road courses.

Christopher Bell is the guy we’re targeting this weekend. Easy. What about fading Kevin Harvick? The guy who won 10 races two years ago? Also easy.
