Streaming Quarterbacks: Week 16 Targets

Week 15 isn’t technically over, but like Bill Belichick, we’re on to Week 16. And honestly, after all of the low-scoring games and injuries, I’m ready to turn the page. Hopefully, you had a bye last week or were able to maneuver the minefield. Let’s see what Christmas week has in store for us.

Week 15 Results

It went down to the wire, but Fields helped us come away with three top-12 finishes this week. The massive asterisk is that there are still two games to go, but I’ll take a minor victory. “Minor” is the keyword as the scores were minor boosts to your fantasy lineups. But if 14 points got you into the Top 12, it highlights how bad the quarterback position was last week. I did want to touch on one guy I missed, though.

Tyler Huntley, my goodness. The matchup against the Packers and at least one of his pass-catchers being out made it difficult to recommend him for last week. But he not only outperformed expectations, but the offense shifted with him under center. Baltimore is 17th in neutral pass rate on the season but was fourth in Week 15 alone. The unexpected volume combined with his rushing fueled his QB1 finish, so we should all be watching Lamar Jackson’s status for Week 16.
