Sunday Night DFS Single Game Breakdown: Packers at 49ers

Last week the game plan for the Ravens proved me wrong by taking away Tyreek Hill, but that allowed just about every other pass-catcher to get involved and score some points. Lamar Jackson's performance started poor in the passing game missing a big one to Marquise Brown that could have changed the showdown slate completely, but pulled together and had a spectacular performance. On DraftKings, the perfect lineup for last week's contest would have been CPT Byron Pringle FLEX Marquise Brown, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Demarcus Robinson, and Travis Kelce. On FanDuel, MVP Lamar Jackson, FLEX Travis Kelce, Byron Pringle, Patrick Mahomes, and Demarcus Robinson. Pringle and Robinson were the two you needed to identify to build the perfect lineup.

This week we have the Green Bay Packers heading to play the 49ers on the road in San Fransisco. The 49ers are 2-0, playing well on both sides of the ball while dealing with many injuries in the running back room. Figuring out who will get the majority of the workload for the 49ers backfield is the key to this showdown slate. On the other side, this Packers team is 1-1. They pulled it together on the offensive side of the ball last week, but their defense has not done its part. The Packers are giving up over five yards per carry and three passing touchdowns a game.

This is a great line for this game because both teams should be able to find ways to move the ball and score some points. I expected a higher over-under. This line tells us that this one is not supposed to be lopsided, but ultimately Kyle Shanahan will have multiple ways of carving up this Packers defense which I will get into below.
