Streaming Tight Ends: Week 7 Targets
Bye weeks are fast upon us and the onesie streaming process becomes a little more difficult as the managers who drafted high-cost options at the position have now joined in the fold to scrape the waiver wire for value. With an exorbitant number of data points through six weeks, we have a leg up in understanding what defenses we should be targeting and why. In our case here, teams that have consistently been a sieve to the tight end position will give us clues as to who we should be aiming for off of the waiver wire.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
In order to provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 6 Review
We had a great week for streaming, as we identified three of the top-12 options with a little bit of touchdown luck. Some of that may have had to do with the Philadelphia Eagles showcasing Zach Ertz in the red zone before making a trade with the Arizona Cardinals mere hours after the closing bell of their game on Thursday but we will take production in whatever form it may provide itself.
