Streaming Tight Ends: Week 8 Targets
After the bye week monstrosity that was last week, we ease into a slate with only two teams on bye (Ravens, Raiders) and won’t see another with more than four teams taking a rest for the remainder of the year. As our priors become stronger the longer the season goes on, our ability to make a tight end Frankenstein via the waiver wire becomes more powerful.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season continues to progress and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide advice you can actually implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 7 Review
Another solid showing in the tight end streaming streets last week as we continue to make do with what the waiver wire presents us. We identified three players within the top-14 and nearly every player who scored higher than them was rostered on teams outside of our 40% threshold. On to Week 8.
