Value is value and there are times when that does not come from the places most would think to look first. While roles are generally more stable with stars, there can be value in the little variance of role players or their lines are not getting the same attention as the stars and bad lines are left for longer. Today’s props are an example of looking further down the team's pecking order to find value that can be profitable.

There are also plenty of tools to find value in players of any role. The Player Prop Tool will show projected value on listed props and you can customize the search to your liking, the Stat Explorer shows a specific stat for a player and how it compares to that night’s line and even allows you to customize the time frame you are looking at, and the Player Prop Finder shows what the line is at for all of a player’s props at all the primary books.
