5 Rookie Defensive Backs to Target in IDP Leagues in 2022
Over the last few seasons, rookie defensive backs are being eased onto the field. They are much more versatile and can play anywhere on the field. The speed and complexity of the NFL game is a bit of a learning curve and they aren't playing 900-plus snaps in their rookie year. a difficult time getting on the field.
In 2021, only one rookie defensive back played more than 1,000 regular season snaps; Trevor Moehrig. No other rookie DB played more than 900 snaps. The closest was Jevon Holland with 893. I do think that will change in 2022. In this article, I identify the rookie defensive backs who have the potential to play a full-time role in 2022.
