We're now entering the double-digit weeks, as we head into Week 10. There's been a role change and a few injuries that impact fantasy squads. A few big injuries out of Week 9 - Rashan Gary, Divine Deablo, Pete Werner, and Marcus Davenport. Gary's injury is a season-ender, while we're still waiting for word on the severity of the others.
Bye weeks roll on, as the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, and New York Jets will be at home.
Notable IDPs with the Week 10 bye: Logan Wilson, Vonn Bell, Jesse Bates, Trey Henderickson, Sam Hubbard, Patrick Queen, Roquan Smith, Chuck Clark, Matt Judon, CJ Mosley, and Quinnen Williams.
Time to hit the wire and prepare for Week 10. Here are the IDPs to target this week from your IDP waiver wire.
Linebacker
Blake Martinez, LB, Las Vegas Raiders
Well, it took an injury to Divine Deablo to give Blake Martinez IDP relevancy. Deablo suffered an elbow injury that knocked him out after two snaps and Martinez came on in relief and played every snap thereafter.
Martinez was a tackle machine and it didn’t look like he lost a step. He was around the ball, took on blocks, and hit gaps, like on this tackle:
He stuffed Travis Etienne for no gain on a key 3rd down. Martinez appeared in 91% of the snaps and produced a 17.5% tackle rate - resulting in 11 tackles. If Deablo is going to miss any time, Martinez should jump to the top of the priority list as an IDP add. He didn’t wear the dot but definitely got the three-down usage. If he’s going to play 100%, he produces an elite tackle rate and is a potential LB1.
