Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets (Fantasy Football 2022)
We're headed into Week 11. Some of you might've gotten some reinforcements with TJ Watt, or might have lost Shaquille Leonard. Injuries and bye weeks continue to test our patience. We're a few weeks from the fantasy playoffs, but in the words of Eddie Vedder, "there's no time for self-indulgent hesitance", so time to hit the wire.
In Week 11, we'll be without the IDPs from the Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Notable IDPs on bye: Foyesade Oluokun, Devin Lloyd, Josh Allen, Rayshawn Jenkins, Jevon Holland, Bradley Chubb, Jordyn Brooks, Ryan Neal, Devin White, Lavonte David, Mike Edwards.
Time to mount up, and hit the IDP waiver wire. Here are your targets for Week 11.
Linebacker
Kaden Elliss, LB, New Orleans Saints
The Saints lost Pete Werner to an ankle injury last week and was inactive this week against Pittsburgh. When Werner exited last week, there was a rotation between Kaden Elliss and Zack Baun.
Elliss saw the snaps alongside Demario Davis in their 2-LB packages in Week 10. Not only did he get the snaps, but he was on the field for 96% of the snaps. PFF graded Elliss as the Saints’ top defender in Week 10. Elliss was also utilized in the pass rush, as he was deployed on 10 pass rush snaps. Here was his sack on Kenny Pickett:
Elliss had a productive day, even if his tackle was less than 10%. He had the sack and added a forced fumble to his stat sheet. It looks like Elliss has a sizable role in the Saints' defense, and should be one of the top waiver adds this week.
