Stacks to Draft in Underdog Fantasy Football Tournaments (June)
Stacking is a strategy that was first brought into DFS several years ago but has now hit the mainstream for best ball strategy. While stacking in season-long has its critics, it can be a wonderfully exploitative approach to drafting in best ball leagues.
Last year, TJ Hernandez wrote a great piece covering the macro aspects of stacking in Underdog's best ball tournaments. In this article, I'll highlight some specific stacks that fit the bill for what TJ found that can be easily drafted.
Before I get into which specific stacks to target, here is a visual representation of how stacking currently plays out for Underdog drafts based on ADP:
Houston Texans
This may be a bit of a cop-out, but the Houston Texans have the single most affordable stack on Underdog right now. Not only is the quarterback, rookie C.J. Stroud, currently being drafted as the 26th quarterback off the board, but they don't have a pass-catcher with an ADP in the top 130. In fact, the Texans are one of just three teams (Chiefs and Ravens) whose tight end is the top-drafted pass catcher.
