Week 12 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets (Fantasy Football 2023)

Week 11 is mercifully over as it was not kind to our IDP rosters this week. The big injury was Kyzir White, as he was placed on IR with a torn bicep and Joey Bosa landed on IR with a sprained foot. A few other injuries we need to monitor are to Lavonte David and Anthony Walker. Luckily, we don't need to worry about byes in Week 12, but the last two resume in Week 13.

Week 12 Non-IDP Waiver Targets

So, with Thanksgiving and Week 12 ahead of us, here's who to target from your IDP waiver wire this week.

Linebacker

Sione Takitaki, LB, Cleveland Browns

The Browns’ LB situation has been a messy rotation all season, however, an injury might provide some cleanup.

Anthony Walker suffered a hamstring injury that is being called week-to-week. With that said, I don’t see Walker being available for the Week 12 tilt against the Broncos. When Walker left, Sione Takitaki got the majority of the snaps and wore the dot on defense.

Takitaki looks as if though he’s got a full-time role as the signal-caller of the defense. At this point of the season, it’s tough to overlook any LB who’s staring down significant snaps.

Takitaki was averaging 51% of the snaps, but an 8.3% tackle rate. At least he was pushing 10% with his 88% snap share in Week 11 resulting in five tackles.

Takitaki has a good matchup against a Broncos offense allowing 18 tackles/game to the linebacker position.
