Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 3: Matchups to Exploit
We’ve all been there. You’re sitting in your draft, and someone reaches for a defense way too early. Defenses are notoriously tricky to project year-over-year. Some of the best fantasy defenses of the last decade have turned in performances where they benefited from turnover luck one year and ran dry the next. When drafting, I treat the D/ST spot on my roster as a revolving door, and I’m specifically drafting for Week 1 or the first few weeks of the season.
As we work our way through the season, this article will serve as a place to identify streaming options. The only criterion is that the teams we discuss are rostered in less than 40% of leagues on Yahoo or ESPN.

Week 2 Recap
In Week 2, we rolled with the Giants, Packers, and Browns. It wasn’t our best showing, to be quite honest. The Giants actually scored negative points. They look broken at the moment, unable to generate a pass rush whatsoever. The Packers got a sack and a pick but only managed three points. It turns out Cleveland was the best option, scoring seven points with a sack, interception, and a fumble recovery.
We’re only counting the top option, though, which brings our season total to 10 points after giving a point back in Week 2. That puts us at D/ST18 on the year so far. But, there are some juicy matchups that can move us up the leaderboard.
