Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 1: Finding the Undrafted Gems
Defense isn’t sticky year-to-year and there are always a few DST that surprise us each year. As I laid out in the how to stream defense article, 33% of top-12 drafted defenses didn’t finish there and two of the four, didn’t even finish in the top half of DST scoring. The opportunity cost of missing out on the top defenses isn’t huge as the difference between the top defense and the 12th defense is just about 4 points per week. However, as we’ve seen the difference between other positions is massive.
I’m going to try to stick to keeping picks below 40% rostered in Yahoo leagues and we’ll also keep track of how the picks did each week. We'll also be using the 4for4 projections to identify the best options that should be available to you this week. On top of that, we’ll look ahead to next week and see if there is someone we can get ahead on or see about a streamer that could have multi-week use.
