Week 11 Best Bets on Rebet: Jake's Best Bets

Every week I’ll be posting a few of my favorite plays in this article with brief write-ups of each play. I’ll use this space up top to recap the previous week and share any thoughts or takeaways I have going forward.

Week 10 Recap: 2-1, +$89 (assuming $100 units)

Overall: 23-11, +$1,067 (assuming $100 units)

Three plays so far this week, all released in our discord today. Week 10 we picked up two more wins; the winning bets were: Colby Parkinson UNDER 22.5 receiving yards. The Parkinson bet was about as easy a win as you can get. Parkinson hardly played and was third in TE snaps. As I had expected, Parkinson lost the starting TE job; he did not even record a target. Our second win was Tim Patrick UNDER 22.5 receiving yards. Like the Parkinson bet, Patrick also did not record a single target. Despite LaPorta getting hurt, Patrick still logged the lowest route participation since his Lions debut in Week 2.

The Sutton loss stung a bit as he caught two balls on their last offensive drive to go over. In hindsight, though, Nix has been playing much better football and was able to weather the storm of Kansas City’s blitz-heavy defense. Also, Sutton is the alpha on Denver and is the only WR who plays every down and earns targets. I thought the KC defense would be too much for Nix, but he played solid.

Week 11 NFL Best Bets

Jared Goff UNDER 28.5 Pass Attempts (-130) Prop City

Released in Discord on 11/15. Goff has completed a career-high 71.8% of his passes this season. This Jaguars defense has been nothing short of awful this season, and their defense is allowing the 2nd highest completion % in the league (69.9%). This Lions offense is also known for its explosive plays, and this Jaguars defense has given up plenty through the air; this Jaguars defense has allowed seven 40+ pass completions (second most in the NFL). The Lions are also 13.5-point favorites and could easily just run the ball 30 times and win this game as well.

Christian McCaffrey OVER 4.5 Receptions (+118) Prop City

Released in Discord on 11/15. It was unclear if CMC would be eased into action, but last week, he clearly was not; CMC out-carried Mason 13-1 and caught six balls on seven targets. SF will be without Aiyuk for the rest of the season, which leaves a void in their receiving game. The Seahawks are one of the most pass-happy teams in the NFL, so I expect both offenses to get off a lot of plays. This game has a high total of 48.5. SF has also been very unimpressive these past few weeks, so I don't expect a blowout despite the 6.5-point spread.

Justin Herbert OVER 30.5 Pass Attempts (-110) Prop City

Released in Discord on 11/15. The Bengals have been destroyed through the air this season, and Herbert has been playing great football. Gus Edwards returned to action last week, and the Chargers PROE dropped. Could Gus be the reason for this? Possibly, but I don't think it sticks, and I expect a good high-scoring game. This Chargers defense has given up 20 points only once all season and will get their biggest test against the Bengals, scoring 30 ppg in the last 3 weeks. I expect this Chargers defense to give way to this Bengals offense and force this Chargers offense to throw to keep up.
