Week 13 DraftKings & FanDuel Showdown Plays: Dolphins vs. Packers Thanksgiving Day NFL DFS
Welcome to The Showdown breakdown for Week 12 Thursday Night Football, the final game of our Thanksgiving Day triple-header, and possibly the best overall matchup of the day, an exciting interconference battle between the resurgent Miami Dolphins and surprisingly strong Green Bay Packers. The Packers are 8-3, but despite that hot start, they are just third in the NFC North, in the middle of a dogfight with Minnesota (9-2) and Detroit (10-1). Green Bay's +65-point differential is the best among any third-place team in the league, but they'll have their work cut out for them against the Miami team that is improving in all phases.
The Dolphins are currently second in the AFC East at 5-6, but have a ton of work to do to catch up in the tightly contested AFC playoff race. To make matters worse, they are injury-managing essentially their entire roster at the moment, and are particularly banged up in the secondary and offensive line, which could be disastrous against an opportunistic team like Green Bay. The Packers are less than 100% on defense themselves, and will likely be without receiver Romeo Doubs to boot. So this game could come down to how well each side compensates for their own deficiencies. Let's break this one down from a single-game DFS perspective.
