Week 14 IDP Matchups to Exploit & Streaming Options
In this space, the weekly targets will range from individual players and positional groups to entire defensive units. IDP leagues are like snowflakes, so if you have specific questions, jump into our subscriber Discord, find the IDP channel, and tag me with any questions you have. Some of you play in leagues where all of these players are already owned, and some of you play in IDP leagues where only 3-4 players are rostered on each team, so the players listed below might not even be on your radar, so don't be afraid to reach out. Also, don't forget to check out the Waiver Wire column and IDP Rankings as well.
Sometimes, I'll reference a player who's nearly universally rostered across all IDP leagues, but perhaps that'll help you with a potential start/sit decision you were wrestling with. Bye weeks are going to hit hard in Week 14, with the Ravens, Broncos, Texans, Colts, Patriots, and Commanders all on bye.
Ideally, you drafted a set-it-and-forget-it IDP roster, rendering this column useless to you all season long, but that's not how life works. The Waiver Wire column should help as well, but I want to use this space weekly to highlight some of the best matchup spots on the slate, along with any corresponding defenders who are in line to benefit.

Week 14 IDP Matchups To Exploit
Giants Linebackers
No team in the league allows a higher percentage of tackles by opposing linebackers (31.07%) than the New Orleans Saints. Among starting NFL quarterbacks, only Russell Wilson (13.4%) checks down at a higher rate than Derek Carr (13.3%). Both players are similar in a sense, relying on a high rate of dump-offs while mixing in the occasional moonball deep. Last week against the Rams, we saw both Christian Rozeboom (12) and Omar Speights (10) produce double-digit tackle outings.
We also see an advantageous assist rate for the Giants at home (53.29% over the past two seasons, 6.29% above average), so it's a great spot to fire up Bobby Okereke and, in deeper leagues, Micah McFadden. We've also seen safeties with a high rate of snaps in the box show out against the Saints of late, so fire up Tyler Nubin with confidence as well.
Kaden Elliss
There are multiple ways for Kaden Elliss to be productive in Week 14 against the Vikings. While the LB2 rotation of Nate Landman and Troy Andersen is a frustrating one for fantasy purposes, Kaden Elliss's role as an every-down player is secure. In this matchup against the Vikings, who've allowed the second-highest percentage of tackles by opposing linebackers (30.69%) on the season, Elliss should have a solid tackle floor even though the Vikings' scorekeeper is quite stingy with assists.
Elliss can also stuff the stat sheet due to his usage as a pass rusher. Washington's Frankie Luvu (23 pressures) is the only off-ball linebacker with more quarterback pressures than Elliss (22) this season, but Luvu has 145 pass rush snaps compared to just 88 for Kaden Elliss.
No quarterback was pressured more in Week 13 than Sam Darnold, whose 36 sacks are the fourth-most in the league. Arizona linebackers Kyzir White and Mack Wilson combined for seven pressures and three sacks against Darnold last week, and the Falcons, who, like the Cardinals, also struggle to generate pressure up front, will likely look to exploit that second-level pressure advantage here in Week 14.
