Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 16: A Strange Position
Week 1 of the Fantasy Playoffs greeted us with equal parts high-scoring nail-biters and awful, turnover-filled disasters. Sadly, for our sake, the tight end position mostly fell into the latter half. Only six options garnered double-digit fantasy points, while the top three scorers (Jonnu Smith, Sam LaPorta, Trey McBride) have long been out of any sort of streaming perimeters. Let’s hope for some bolstered scoring out of the position, as we had in the middle portion of the season.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 15 Recap
Not a great week by any means, but we did sneak in two TE1s on the slate, so it certainly could have been worse. Hunter Henry doesn’t even finish as a TE2 despite finishing the game second on the team in targets, Juwan Johnson missed out on a touchdown when teammate Foster Moreau came down with a score, and Tyler Conklin gets a pass on his goose egg due to missing the contest for the birth of his child.
We’ll look to ratchet up with eyes toward Week 16.
