Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 3: Bears Ready to Hunt
Passing touchdowns remained at a slow pace this week and a few major underdogs found ways to win outright this week. The new meta for football seems to be changing and how that impacts fantasy scoring will be fascinating. We’ll see if the ground games continue to dominate and if they do, it puts even more of an emphasis on turnovers for DST scoring.
We also saw more major injuries in Week 2 which should have a ripple effect on Week 3. Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa suffered another concussion in primetime, and that situation will need to be monitored further. The Rams' offensive line and wide receiver rooms have been decimated by injuries. Eagles WR AJ Brown sounds like he could be out a few weeks and Jalen Hurts didn’t have the sharpest game through the air without him.

Week 2 Review
It was a so-so week for streaming defenses where we had one big hit, one average play, and one big miss. Starting with the miss, I’m as surprised as anyone that Malik Willis and the Packers won the game. I added the Colts' defense in a few spots where the Chargers weren’t available and was stunned they couldn’t force a turnover from the turnover machine that is Willis.
Seattle was fine if you added them, they didn’t win you the week, but they didn’t lose you the week either. Meanwhile, the Chargers were so good on defense that Bryce Young has been benched moving forward for Andy Dalton. So there’s that! Overall we’re at 5 hits and 2 misses this year.
