Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 4: Conklin In the Mix

Tight End Streaming Week 4

Maybe all of our veteran stud tight ends have hit the age cliff at the same time? Mark Andrews seems like he’s still recovering from a lower-body injury, Travis Kelce hasn’t topped 5.0 half-PPR points in a game yet, and George Kittle just missed Week 3 with his own injury bug. We’re waiting for that next crop of players to step in, and while Dalton Kincaid is doing his best to fill their shoes, we’re still looking to avoid zeroes with the waiver wire, which we’ll dig into below.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 3 Recap

It was a pretty good week in the streaming streets, as we hit three TE1s, including Cole Kmet, who popped up for an overall TE2 performance with a 10-97-1 stat line. Though Hunter Henry saw plenty of time on the field back on Thursday Night Football, the Patriots couldn’t get anything going on the ground or through the air, rendering the tight end nearly useless in fantasy terms.

Deep plays came through, so hopefully, some of us were able to sneak one of the veterans, Mike Gesicki or Zach Ertz, into lineups to avoid some goose eggs at the position.
