Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 7: When The Saints Go Marching In
As we pointed out last week, with a few highly-rostered defenses on bye and a solid week for streaming defenses teams that needed a defense had enough options to cover themselves. I don’t necessarily think this is going to be a great week, but with only two defenses on bye – Chicago and Dallas – there shouldn’t be as much competition this week if you need a streaming defense.
This week we have a bunch of bad offenses going up against bad fantasy-scoring defenses which will make it a little riskier this week, but I think we have at least three solid options at varying degrees of rostership.

Week 6 Review
We knew it would be a good week for streaming defenses and that became even more evident as the week went on. When Spencer Rattler was named starter, the Bucs defense became an obvious pickup for those with waivers later in the week. We still had our top overall options finish as top-10 options on the week as Houston (4th), Green Bay (5th), and Philadelphia (T-7th) all finished as big hits for us.
Indianapolis wasn’t able to finish as a top 12 DST against Will Levis which gives me some pause moving forward with them. Overall, we’re at 16 hits and 6 misses this year.
