14 Fantasy Football Stash Candidates Ahead of Week 9
As I mentioned last week, stashes this year are harder to come by, since teams are being ravaged at a higher clip than we normally see, or at least it feels that way. Instead of listing the same RB handcuffs each week, I will include a section at the bottom of this column with the best rushers to roster in case something happens to the player above them on the depth chart.
Here are some of the best guys to grab and stash ahead of Week 9’s nearly full slate, with just Pittsburgh and San Francisco resting.

Khalil Herbert, RB - Bears (7% rostered)
The Bears seem pretty set with D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson as their RB tandem, considering Khalil Herbert hasn’t seen a touch since Week 3. He’s a prime candidate for a trade with so many depleted depth charts, so he could be worth a grab in the event Herbert finds a new home before the November 5th trade deadline.
