10 Dynasty Players to Buy Before the NFL Draft

With the NFL draft right around the corner, and the 2025 prospects about to find their landing spots, it's time for dynasty leagues to kick into full gear. Until the calendar flips to your rookie drafts, that means trading ... and the week of the draft is a hot spot for trade value. To help you capitalize on that value, here are 10 players to buy at their current price.
QB Justin Fields, New York Jets
A lot of people still think the Jets are planning to draft a quarterback on Thursday or Friday — I've seen several mocks where they land Shedeur Sanders at seventh overall and some where they manage to get Jaxson Dart later. Partially as a result, Justin Fields is sitting at near-backup dynasty value (QB26 on KeepTradeCut), despite being 26 years old. However, the far more common (and sensible) expectation is that the Jets will go offensive tackle (Armand Membou) or pass-catcher (WR Tetairoa McMillan or TE Tyler Warren) in the first and snag the other in the second. In other words, they will build around the young QB they just signed to a two-year, $40 million contract, who they believe can follow the Baker Mayfield/Sam Darnold "delayed breakout" trajectory. Fields has averaged 18.8 fantasy points per game (QB7) as a starter over the last three years and has consistently improved as a passer. I would not be surprised to see him in dynasty QB1 range in a year, and he will be a fantasy QB1 for as long as he's starting.
