Purdue Has Dropped 2 Straight
Purdue is looking to course correct after two straight Big Ten losses. First, they dropped a 75-73 contest to the Michigan Wolverines who now sit on top of the Big Ten standings. Then, it was a 94-84 loss three days ago to Wisconsin. Purdue was top 10 in the national rankings but has dropped to No. 13 heading into tonight's matchup with Michigan State. Purdue is 19-7 on the year and 11-4 in the Big Ten (3rd).

From November 27 to January 28, Michigan State ripped off 13 straight wins on its way to the top of the Big Ten standings. The Spartans were 18-2 heading into a February 1 matchup with USC. Michigan State dropped that game 70-64 before losing their next contest 63-61 to UCLA. After picking up an 86-74 win against Oregon, the Spartans dropped another game as they lost 71-67 to Indiana.
